{Merci: Al Karam}

For lunch today, we stopped by our usual Lebanese place by the office (Lebanese in France is like Indian in England - very popular!). Normally we pop in for a quick takeaway Shish Tawook or Shawarma sandwich (I had no idea what those were before coming to Paris either), but today we decided to sit in and have a long, leisurely lunch after a busy morning.

Here's my what I got - it was seriously delicious. Marinated chicken with proper homemade hummus, sautéed potatoes and tomato/coriander salad. It was properly hearty without being greasy. Just what we needed to fuel us up for the afternoon!

As we tucked into complimentary desserts (another reason I love this place) washed down with mint tea, I quizzed the girls on what it means to be a quintessential Parisian girl. Look out for the blog post! Anyway, Al Karam is in the 15th arrondissement, not so far from the Eiffel Tower, and I heartily recommend it if you're in the area. Or even if you're not.

Have a great weekend, everyone!
