L'Eclair on Rue Cler

Have you been to Rue Cler in the 7th arrondissement? It's a market street just perfect for winter strolls... and a bit of food too of course! Every step you take brings you to a new gem, so it takes a while to cover the little road from top to bottom - I suggest stopping for regular breaks at the many caf├ęs.

Overwhelmed with choice, we decided to stop for brunch/lunch at L'Eclair. I'm not gonna lie - the two main selling points were the awesome lightbulbs (see below) and the cute little blue chairs looking out onto the cobbled street. We grabbed a couple front-row seats to the best show in Paris: the people's catwalk. Luckily, Kaat is a fellow expert people-watcher, so we settled in for the long haul.

Our waiter was absolutely charming - a nice treat after experiencing bad service at a couple other places. He brought us a cheeseburger & a Cobb salad - can you guess which one was for me?! The burger was b.e.a.utiful, and I promise I shared my fries with Kaat! I washed my food down with a fresh juice featuring passion fruit juice - which everyone knows is my absolute fave. Heaven.

Rue Cler, you absolute beauty - I'll be back!
